8.5% Increase in Average Market Sale Price over Last Year!
While doing some home buying research for a buyer in the Westlake Village area, I compared a small band of property sales in the first 6 months of 2017, compared to the same period in 2016. Amazingly, this sub-market had an average increase of 8.5% in "price per square foot.
What this means to all of us, is if planning to buy a home, don't wait. You might think you are playing too much, but over the near term, your purchase will prove to be a wise decision. And, if thinking of selling, and then buying another home or easy-care condo, it will be better to do it now, than wait, as interest rates and the related costs of moving will certainly rise.
I just wish my index funds and mutual funds could grow at that rate!!!
